General risk assessments (GRAs)
Prioritising health & safety
With adequate health & safety measures in place, you have confidence that your people, business, and property are protected against potential risks.
We help ‘responsible persons’ discharge their duties and keep you and your organisation compliant with the latest standards and legislation.
When we conduct a GRA, you receive:
-
A comprehensive health & safety inspection carried out using The Workplace (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992. Your inspection will be conducted to British and EU Standards, in accordance with BS EN ISO 14121-1 and other relevant guidance.
-
A concise report which sets out all areas of compliance, and non-compliance within the building.
-
Specific recommendations to improve your health & safety measures, together with an indication of the urgency of the remediation. You receive a clear list of issues, rated in order of severity, which allows you to put in a place a logical action plan for remedial works.
01
Keep your people, business, and property safe
The consequence of a fire in your building can be catastrophic. With robust defences, you protect your people, your business, and your property.
03
Peace of mind
Know that you’ve done everything you can to safeguard your people, your business, and your property.
02
Demonstrate compliance
An up-to-date GRA is your best evidence of compliance. If an incident occurs, or you’re accused of negligence, an GRA will prove how you did everything you could to prevent it.
When should you get a GRA?
Annually
It’s best practice to review your general risk assessment every year.
Legislative changes
If there are changes to health and safety legislation that may affect your property, business, or people, a new GRA should be carried out to ensure compliance.
Changes to work activities or the environment
Whenever there are changes in work activities, processes and equipment, or changes to the building, a new GRA should be carried out.
